We are currently working with a fiduciary located next to the German border, in Grevenmacher , which is looking for an Accountant to join their accounting team. This fiduciary is a client we have worked with for many years as they have stable teams and excellent values internally.
They work with commercial companies, such as small and medium sized businesses coming from Germany or Luxembourg, who are almost exclusively German-speaking clients. This fiduciary is member of a group, which is helpful in order to grow on the Luxembourgish market and to offer prestigious services to its clients.
This fiduciary has existed in the country for almost 30 years and is composed today of 30 people. They offer many services to their clients : payroll, accounting, tax services and so on. They put in place a quality management system in order to create a healthy environment between colleagues and to allow them to work efficiently and in the best possible circumstances, which is proof of the well-being of the accountants in this company.
Your Responsibilities | Fiduciary – Luxembourg – Accounting
You are responsible for the accounting entries.
You prepare VAT and tax returns, as well as the annual accounts for all of your clients.
You are in direct contact with the members of your team and your managers, and you work closely with them by showing an excellent team-spirit.
You advise your clients and you are reactive in replying to their questions when they have any. This service helps the company to reduce the turn-over of clients, although it is already very low.
You are organized and you always prepare your files respecting the deadlines.
Profile and Career Path | Accountant – Finance – Service Provider
You have at least 2 years of experience in accounting in fiduciaries in Luxembourg, ideally with a commercial client portfolio.
You are fluent in German, and you need to speak English or French in addition to this language. Indeed, all of your colleagues and clients will speak German, this language is necessary to integrate well as a new member.
You are open-minded and always available to reply to the questions of your colleagues or clients.
Working in a digital and modern environment is not a problem for you, you are used to that or at least you are interested in working this way.
You want to join a stable team and company, in which you will benefit from career prospects in the long term. You do not, however, want to be promoted every year and to evolve as a Senior Manager in the next years because the most important for you is to feel satisfied in your work.

You will benefit from a salary up to 60 000€ gross, depending on your level in accounting and tax and on your experience.
This fiduciary will allow you to work from home if you want to, up to 2 days per week if you live in Luxembourg. This advantage will offer you an excellent work-life balance and a real freedom and flexibility in your life.
If you need to work part-time for your children or to practice one of your hobbies, you will be able to be free on Wednesdays for example, or to leave work earlier by working 32h or 28h per week.
