We are currently working with a growing company on the Luxembourgish market which is looking for an Accountant to work closely with the Manager. This company is composed of more than 30 people and its activity is mainly focused on Private Equity, Real Estate companies, as well as AIFM services and regulated funds.
It has been more than 50 years that the structure has grown and its evolution is continuous, this is why the company is currently recruiting a new employee. The objective is to support the growth of its activities and to serve new clients in the most quality-oriented way.
The company is present all around the world, in the USA, in the UK, Dubai, France, and even China for example. Thanks to this international business, the employees of the company have good skills in accounting and in finance, and they are well informed about the economic situation across the world.
Your Responsibilities | Asset Manager – PFS – Accounting
You will be responsible for the office management of the company. Indeed, you will be present for the teams to help them and to assist them every day, especially in terms of administrative tasks.
You will answer the incoming calls and process emails to stay organized and updated about the activities of the company. The part of reception and administration in your work will be a minority but still very important.
In your work, you will also offer support for the accounting team: it will consist of preparing drafts for VAT returns, and to manage invoices by entering them in the system and file them.
You are also a support for the paralegal team and you prepare the documents for the signature. You are in contact with legal advisers and you also organize board meetings.
Profile and Career Path | Fiduciary – Accountancy – Fund Industry
You have between one and four years of experience in accounting, or a versatile role consisting of accounting and administration. You are also looking for diversity in your work.
You are fluent in English and you have a good level in French(written and verbal).
You are passionate about the finance world and want to develop new skills in this field.
You have a real team-spirit which allows you to be a key member in a team and to work efficiently. This mindset helps you to have a good organization and to be proactive.
You are always on time at work and this professionalism allows you to have good relations with the other members of the team.
You are not afraid to ask your manager when you have questions or if you have an idea regarding the improvement of the processes for example.
You ideally have a first experience in the use of Bob 50.
