Within walking distance from the Luxembourg Train Station, you will find this PFS with several offices abroad (in the Netherlands, United States, Switzerland, Asia and so on). The entity in the Grand-Duchy is independent and takes all its decisions locally, so you will always benefit from a good organization internally.
Its clients are mainly Soparfi/Holdings on a European level and the PFS prides itself in the quality-oriented approach it provides to each client. As the company has recently onboarded some new clients, they want to maintain a reasonable workload for their employees as too much pressure would cause them to potentially leave the company.
Yes, client satisfaction is important, but the PFS cares just as much about its employees. With over 100 team members in Luxembourg, but divided in smaller teams, the structure finds it important to treat everyone with respect and to take everyone’s individual objectives into account.
This is why your career, and place in the hierarchy, will never stagnate. You can move up to Head Of positions in time and, to give an example, one employee started here as an intern and moved up to a position of Manager in only 7 years!
Your Responsibilities | Assistant Manager Accounting – PFS – PSF - Accountant
You handle the daily accounting of your own files from A to Z.
You work closely with the Manager to coach and help the (junior) accountants to evolve in their autonomy.
You will review the preparation of financial statements, VAT and tax returns, BCL reporting, ensure that deadlines and time sheets are respected.
You attend meetings as well as other networking events with your clients and care about building strong relationships with them.
You have a thorough understanding of LuxGAAP and its principles.
Profile and Career Path | Assistant Manager Accounting – PFS – PSF - Accountant
You have between 5 and 15 years of experience as an Accountant in a fiduciary or PFS in Luxembourg. You currently hold a position of Senior Accountant or a managerial role already.
You care about having career prospects for your future and evolving in the hierarchy in time.
You have a first experience in reviewing junior accountants and/or even coaching and assisting them in their evolution.
You have very good knowledge of English, both verbally and in writing, and do not mind working in an English speaking environment.
