An AIFM located in the city center of Luxembourg contacted us to assist them in their search of an Accountant for their existing team. Today, the team is composed of approximately 10 people, who are all specialized in Real Estate and who want to welcome a new colleague to continue the development in Luxembourg.
One of the best parts of this AIFM is that it does not regulate its own funds, which makes the work more ethical without conflicts. The company has opened several offices in Europe and is, in total, composed of several hundreds of employees today. The office in Luxembourg is composed of less than 50 people and also is large enough to continue to hire new people in the following years. The offices are luminous, with digitalized internal processes, and as a result ideal as a new work environment.

Your Responsibilities | Finance – AIFM – Luxembourg
You prepare the daily accounting for Real Estate Funds and entities. Your portfolio will be composed of a dozen of funds, asset management companies.
You are able to work with LUXGAAP regulations, and if you have knowledge of IFRS, this will be a plus.
You are used to working with auditors, tax officers, and lawyers to also understand the potential risks.
You prepare detailed and clear reporting, and try to personalize these reports.
Profile and Career Path | PFS – CSSF – Fund Administration
You are fluent in English. If you speak another language, this will represent an advantage for this company.
You have good general knowledge of the Real Estate Fund Industry and you are passionate about this field.
You have at least 3 years of experience as an accountant in an AIFM, or a Financial Service Provider in Luxembourg.
This company uses the software SAP, and it will represent a plus if you already know how to use it.
You are quite autonomous in your work and do not hesitate to ask questions when you need information.
You have good communication skills and this makes you an excellent collaborator within a team.
Offer | Comptabilité – Accounting – Fund Accounting – Luxembourg
You will receive a salary up to €75 000 gross per year, depending on your technical skills and your qualifications. This AIFM will also offer you meal vouchers.
You will benefit from additional holidays, at least 30 days off, from the very the beginning of your experience in the structure.

This position is in-house, which is a real advantage to understand the working method and the organization of the Real Estate market.
