Our partner is an independently owned financial service provider that has been present in Luxembourg for over a decade now. They have not only grown in Luxembourg, but also throughout their several entities abroad which shows that the group in itself is stable and developing itself continuously.
The company offers a wide range of services some of which are accounting and tax, fund management, domiciliation and legal and compliance services. The PSF has mainly focused on a client base of investment funds, and you will personally have the opportunity to take on a portfolio of alternative investment funds.
With over 40 employees in Luxembourg, this PSF has become quite well known and greatly values trust and respect among all its members. Everyone is treated in the same way, no matter their level of experience or role, which has created a real bond internally.
As Senior Compliance Officer, you will join a team of less than 10 people, all of whom have a different level of experience. At your level, you will work closely with the manager and also have the chance to review junior compliance officers, teaching them your acquired skills!
Your Responsibilities | Senior Compliance Officer – Compliance – PSF - Legal
You are responsible for identifying, reviewing and evaluating any compliance risks and reporting these to the directors, also when monitoring transactions, and you adopt a proactive approach moving forward.
You are in charge of implementing and following up procedures and reviewing them regularly which is why you have excellent knowledge of the Luxembourgish and European framework (e.g. MIFID, Aml/Kyc…).
Due diligence : you verify all information and data obtained about investors and make sure this is continuously up to date.
Your client portfolio will be primarily composed of alternative investment funds, and you will make sure to coordinate with the other teams of the PSF so everyone is aware of the evolution of the client.

Having strong communication skills in English is mandatory for this position, and any other language (especially French, German and/or Luxembourgish) will be considered a plus.
5 years of experience or more as a Compliance Officer in a similar environment (PSF, Big Four, Fiduciary) in Luxembourg is asked in order for you to be fully autonomous in your function.
You have strong analytical skills and have a detail-oriented way of working, allowing you to be reactive and to take appropriate measures when needed.
A Bachelor or Master degree in Law will be a real plus in your application as this shows a real passion for the legal and regulatory framework.
You are eager to share your knowledge with less experienced colleagues, which is why you will be their key point of contact. Furthermore, with time you may be asked to offer trainings on specific topics.

Full salary package up to € 90.000 gross per year to which you can add meal vouchers, health insurance, a pension plan, a bonus and a parking spot.
