An Asset Manager located in the heart of Luxembourg City is seeking an Accounting Manager to supervise a small team of accountants (10 people). This company was created more than 80 years ago, and has known an impressive growth since that time all around the world. Your Responsibilities | Finance – Real Estate – Asset Manager – Luxembourg

You are responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS regulations, as well as the review of these prepared by your colleagues.
You are in charge of the maintenance and the management of Real Estate funds, from their creation to their liquidation, including the daily tasks in the management of the funds.
You are in direct contact with the lawyers, tax officers, and auditors to give them the documents they need to well conduct your, and their, work.
You are the manager of your team, which means that you will have to support the other accountants in their tasks, to advise and answer their questions. Furthermore, you have to review their work and to explain their mistakes to make them progress.
Generally speaking, you have good communication skills and you are able to create good relationships with your team members.

Profile and Career Path | Accounting – Consolidation – IFRS – NAV

You have at least 5 years of experience in the fund industry in a Financial Service Provider (Big Four, Fiduciary, PFS) or in a Fund / Asset Manager.
You already had the opportunity to manage a portfolio composed of regulated funds (Real Estate and/or infrastructure funds). If you had the opportunity to manage a portfolio composed of Private Equity funds, it will be considered as a plus.
During your last experiences, if you have had the opportunity to improve your knowledge in IFRS and consolidation, it will be considered as a strong asset.
English is required for this position as you will work in a fully English-speaking environment.
