We are currently assisting our long-term partner in their search for a Deputy Director Legal to join their very stable team. In the context of the PFS’ growth, the director is currently looking for a right-hand man or woman to ensure the fluid day-to-day operations.
You will become one of the key members of this PFS and be able to share your experience with your own team, but also to participate in regular projects and help grow the structure. This PFS has a presence in Luxembourg and abroad and was created over a decade ago, a period during which it has developed a very loyal client base.
The PFS cares about providing quality over quantity, which is why its growth has been organic. With a team of 15 people in Luxembourg (composed of corporate officers, accountants, tax officers etcetera), you will benefit from all the advantages of a human-sized structure. This means that you will always feel listened to, decisions are taken quickly and you will not have the same organizational issues like in larger companies.
Furthermore, this independent structure provides a wide range of services for its financial clients from accountancy to legal and corporate administration. Its client base mainly consists of SOPARFI/Holdings, SPV and securitization vehicles with a continuously growing base of investment funds.

Your Responsibilities | Corporate - Deputy Director – Legal – Manager - PFS
Your role will be comprised of both managerial responsibilities (of a team of 5 corporate officers) and operational tasks, as you will still handle a small client portfolio as well.
You will also be involved in participating in projects within the PFS and its international group, by for example implementing and updating internal policies and procedures, reviewing the fee structure and taking on annual client risk assessments.
You will be involved in handling client meetings and helping to develop the business. This can be either in-person meetings, video conference calls or phone conversations with prospective clients.
You are in charge of coaching and supervising your team, by offering trainings or even to allocate certain tasks. You will of course also participate in the recruitment of future team members.
You will work closely with the Director of the PFS and take on the day-to-day operations during his absence.
Profile and Career Path | Corporate - Deputy Director – Legal – Manager - PFS
We are looking for a candidate that has at least seven years of experience in Luxembourg within a PFS, Fiduciary or Management Company. What is important, is that you can also show professional stability. Of course, candidates with more experience (e.g. 15 or 20 years) are welcome to apply.
You should be fluent in English and in French for this position, to maintain an excellent communication with your clients and with colleagues.
You should have a solid knowledge of the legal industry in Luxembourg and be able to advise financial clients such as Soparfis, holdings, SPVs, securitization vehicles.
Organized, dynamic and proactive are words that perfectly describe you and your work method.
