Legal Secretary - No Overtime, Open-Minded Culture
In the context of our collaboration with a modern and human-sized law firm located in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for an experienced Legal Secretary.
This law firm was founded numerous years ago and has grown to a team of 20 people today in Luxembourg. With a complete expertise for example in Banking & Finance, Tax, Investment Funds and Corporate Law, the law firm has developed a very loyal clientele.
This expertise has allowed them to create a stable work environment in which many team members have been employed since the beginning of the law firm’s creation. This climate of trust and open-minded culture has strongly participated to the overall satisfaction of everyone in the firm.
Furthermore, the law firm invests strongly in trainings, not only for the lawyers but also for supporting staff. For this reason, they will be happy to offer you trainings on AML and Compliance for example, so you can acquire new skills and have real diversity in your role.
It is important to note that this law firm offers a different environment from some other law firms, as you will definitely find a good balance between work and your private life, and lawyers and partners always treat the supporting staff with respect.
Your Responsibilities | Legal Secretary – Legal – Law Firm – Administrative - Corporate
You are responsible for providing administrative assistance to a team of lawyers and Partners of the firm. This includes booking travel arrangements and meeting rooms.
You are in charge of handling correspondence (e.g. physical mail, electronic mail) and also drafting e-mails.
You are also responsible for assisting with the invoicing process with the clients and ensure that the firm is up to date with incoming and outgoing billings.
You will be involved in the AML/KYC process by collecting the necessary documents and handling a first verification. Of course, you will receive the necessary trainings for this.
Your dynamic personality allows you to welcome clients or visitors over the phone or in person professionally.
Profile and Career Path | Legal Secretary – Legal – Law Firm – Administrative - Corporate
For at least 2 years, you have been working in a similar role : as legal secretary in a Law Firm, PFS, Big Four or Fiduciary in Luxembourg, or as a corporate administrative assistant.
Fluency in English is asked and required, whereas any other language will represent a plus.
You have a certain spontaneity and open mindedness to you, which is why colleagues and clients appreciate interacting with you.
You are able to show a stable career path and have not job hopped every 2 years for example. You also want to evolve long term at a future employer.
You have an interest in AML/Compliance and a willingness to learn. If you already have experience at this level, that will be a plus but it is not required.
You have good organizational skills and a good sense of priorities.

An interesting gross salary that can reach €62.000 depending on your experience, to which you can add meal vouchers and an annual bonus.
You will work in close collaboration with two other colleagues, to make sure that the firm is well-organized and to ensure that everyone’s workload remains comfortable.
