We are happy to support our partner, a fiduciary located in the Luxembourgish capital. The fiduciary was created more than 10 years ago and had the opportunity to grow thanks to its broad experience and high-quality standards. The fiduciary currently assists a variety of prestigious clients such as PE/RE funds and commercial companies.
These diversified clients allow all employees to benefit from an interesting portfolio which allows them to develop their technical skills and become more and more autonomous in their work. The most important criterion for the fiduciary is to keep high standards to continue to satisfy its clients and provide them with a great service.
To help all their employees to be efficient in their work, our partner is happy to offer external and internal trainings, and more than sufficient support from more experienced tax officers, as well as modern offices and the newest tools!
However, the fiduciary would like to keep its human size and benefit from an organic development. Indeed, they are currently 6 people and they do not want to seem like a Big Four, or grow to this type of structure. They would like to continue to provide a family-oriented atmosphere and an easy communication internally.
Your Responsibilities | Tax Officer – Fiduciary – Luxembourg – Tax - Finance
You provide your clients with VAT advisory and compliance matters, and are the key person of contact for them should they have any questions.
You are mainly in charge of the review of VAT returns prepared by your colleagues, but you may also be involved in preparing the most complex ones.
You also ensure that communications with VAT authorities and other third parties are handled professionally and in due time.
You prepare and review deliverables regarding VAT, such as Intrastat forms, registration and deregistration.
Profile and Career Path | Tax Officer – Fiduciary – Luxembourg – Tax - Finance
You have at minimum 5 years of experience, ideally in a Big Four or a Fiduciary in Luxembourg and you have specialized in VAT. If you have had the opportunity to work on a diversified portfolio during your last experience, it will be considered as a strong asset although it is not required.
You are motivated and you would like to work in a young and family-oriented environment. It is very important for our partner to integrate a new employee who would like to evolve in a human-sized structure.
You ideally have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance or equivalent.
For this position, English is required. If you are able to speak French, German or Luxembourgish, it will be considered as a plus.
During your last experience, if you had the opportunity to provide advice to your clients, it will be considered as a plus as well.
