Your Responsibilities | Accountancy – Tax – Fiduciary – Management

  • As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP and other applicable standards.
  • You will ensure that all regulatory and internal deadlines related to your client portfolio are met, avoiding late submissions or penalties.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for your clients, you will maintain regular and proactive communication to strengthen and develop long-term relationships.
  • You will handle client queries with clarity and provide explanations on accounting matters when needed.
  • In this role, you will also prepare tax returns, and review those prepared by junior team members to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  • Mentoring junior colleagues will be part of your responsibilities. You will actively support their professional development by answering questions, reviewing their work, and providing constructive feedback.
  • You will coordinate with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and legal advisors to ensure smooth handling of client files.

Profile and Career Path | Accountancy – Tax – Fiduciary – Management

  • Our partner is seeking a candidate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fluency in French and a professional level of English are required for this role.
  • Previous experience with Soparfis and holding structures is mandatory to successfully manage the responsibilities of this position
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting in Luxembourg is required, preferably in a fiduciary or similar environment
  • You must be capable of handling the full accounting cycle from A to Z autonomously, with strong attention to detail and compliance.
  • To thrive in this role, you should demonstrate a dynamic attitude combined with a collaborative mindset and a genuine willingness to contribute to the success of the team.

  • Our partner offers you great flexibility in this role, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance and enjoy time with your family or for personal activities.
  • Depending on your experience and expertise, you can expect a gross annual salary of up to €80,000.
