Accounting Manager – German Speaker, Home Office

Our client is looking to appoint a Manager to reinforce its accounting department, which currently consists of around five professionals. This position combines team leadership with a strong client-facing dimension, requiring someone who can mentor colleagues while building and maintaining trusted client relationships.

The firm offers a comprehensive range of services, spanning accounting, corporate administration, taxation, domiciliation, and advisory. Its clientele is varied and includes investment funds, SOPARFIs, holding companies, and special purpose vehicles.

Your Responsibilities | Manager – Fiduciary – German - Luxembourg

  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring long-term relationships based on reliability, responsiveness, and a high standard of service.
  • Lead, coach, and support team members, including colleagues working remotely, by promoting transparent communication and strong team coordination.
  • Manage the accounting supervision of a diversified portfolio comprising SPVs, holding entities, SOPARFIs, and Private Equity and Real Estate structures, while reviewing the work produced by the team.
  • Coordinate and supervise the end-to-end production of annual financial statements, from trial balance through to statutory closing.
  • Prepare, review, and validate corporate income tax and VAT filings, working closely with Tax experts when transactions or structures require advanced technical input.

Profile and Career Path | Manager – Fiduciary – German - Luxembourg

  • You bring a minimum of six years’ accounting experience in Luxembourg, acquired within a fiduciary, PFS, or Big Four firm.
  • You are fluent in German and have a strong command of either French or English.
  • You have already managed or supervised a team and are able to balance leadership responsibilities with organization and hands-on involvement.
  • You demonstrate solid expertise in SPV structures and investment vehicles, including investment funds.
