This renowned international law firm, with a strong presence in Luxembourg, is widely recognized for advising high-profile clients, including financial institutions, asset managers and multinational companies. As part of the firm’s continued investment in its compliance framework, the Luxembourg office is looking for an AML Manager to join its team. This position, working closely with two Heads of Department, is designed for someone who values long-term stability, autonomy, and the opportunity to play a strategic role in the firm’s operations.
Your Responsibilities | Business Development - Law Firm - Corporate/M&A – Legal
- Manage and supervise AML/KYC processes for a range of complex client structures (funds, corporate clients, financial institutions).
- Act as a trusted advisor to lawyers, ensuring client due diligence is effectively implemented in transactions.
- Lead, coach and motivate junior AML team members, maintaining high compliance standards across the team.
- Update and improve internal AML procedures in line with Luxembourg and EU regulations.
- Collaborate directly with the two Heads of Department on compliance and risk-related strategic initiatives.
- Represent the firm in interactions with clients and regulators on AML matters.
Profile and Career Path | Business Development - Law Firm - Corporate/M&A – Legal
- At least 3 years of experience as an AML Manager in Luxembourg is must, with experience acquired in law firm.
- Fluency in English is required; French is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of Luxembourg AML/KYC requirements and their application in legal and financial transactions.
- Proven management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Organized, pragmatic, and capable of handling priorities in a fast-paced setting.
