Our client is an international Family Office with a presence in Luxembourg and several other European countries. Established locally for more than 15 years, the company focuses on investments in internationally listed businesses and benefits from a stable structure with a long-term vision.

With fewer than ten professionals in the Luxembourg team, this organisation offers a working environment that is very different from that of a large financial institution. As Tax Manager, you will take ownership of a varied investment-related tax portfolio, covering holding companies, SOPARFIs, and commercial entities. You will also have the opportunity to support junior colleagues and collaborate with external partners, while benefiting from the independence and flexibility that come with working in a small, experienced team.

This role is particularly suited to a Dutch-speaking Tax professional with Luxembourg experience who wants to continue developing technically without sacrificing stability, flexibility, or quality of life.

Your Responsibilities | Tax Manager – Family Office – Luxembourg

• Oversee the tax compliance of a diversified portfolio of investment structures, including SOPARFIs, holding companies, and commercial entities.
• Prepare and review corporate income tax returns and VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Luxembourg tax requirements.
• Review the work of junior colleagues, provide technical guidance, and contribute to maintaining high standards across the team.
• Coordinate tax-related matters with external service providers and ensure the efficient management of the portfolio.
• Act as a key contact for auditors, accountants, corporate officers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective follow-up.
• Identify potential tax issues and provide practical support on matters relating to the group's investment structures.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Tax Manager – Family Office – Luxembourg

• You have at least 5 years of experience in Luxembourg taxation, ideally acquired within a Family Office, investment company, or PFS.
• You have a solid understanding of Luxembourg corporate taxation and experience dealing with holding companies, SOPARFIs, and commercial entities.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• You are comfortable working autonomously, managing priorities, and taking responsibility for your own portfolio.
• You have strong communication skills and enjoy working closely with both internal colleagues and external service providers.
