Our client is an international investment company with a strong focus on Private Equity and Real Estate, managing a diversified portfolio of investments across several jurisdictions. As part of the continued development of its Luxembourg operations, the company is looking to strengthen its local Finance team by recruiting an Accountant.

Your Responsibilities | Fund Accountant – In-house – Asset Manager - Luxembourg

• You will contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, preparing account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and the documentation required for accurate financial reporting.
• You will record and monitor intercompany transactions, perform regular reconciliations, and work closely with Finance teams across the group to ensure consistency and accuracy between entities.
• You will assist with VAT compliance and indirect tax matters, including the preparation of VAT-related documentation and coordination with external advisors or the relevant Luxembourg authorities when necessary.
• You will have the opportunity to progressively broaden your responsibilities and develop a strong understanding of the group's accounting and investment activities.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Fund Accountant – In-house – Asset Manager - Luxembourg

• You have at least 2 years of experience in accounting or external audit in Luxembourg, ideally gained within a fiduciary, asset manager, audit firm, corporate services provider, or another financial services environment.
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, providing you with a solid foundation in financial and accounting principles.
• Previous experience with SPVs, holding companies, Private Equity, or Real Estate investment structures will be considered a strong advantage.
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and feel comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment. Any additional language would be an asset.
• You are organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a genuine willingness to learn and progressively take on greater responsibilities.
