We have the pleasure to present you an opportunity of Manager Legal/Legal Counsel with our long-term partner, a PFS of over 50 employees that is currently in full expansion on the market.

You will work in a team that is composed of a legal, corporate, accounting and compliance team, which means that you will be able to communicate easily and in full transparency with your colleagues regarding the clients you share. This way, you know at all times how your client’s situation is advancing and how to work as a team to ensure a quality service.

Its services are oriented towards alternative investment funds in strategies including private equity and real estate, in addition to corporate clients such as soparfi/holdings. This means that you will be surrounded by highly skilled individuals, while in this role having the opportunity to share your knowledge with less experienced team members.

Finally, the PFS is quite open about the fact that their new employees will have many career opportunities in the future and evolve in the hierarchy if they so wish. However, a much better balance is offered than what you would find in many law firms, allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds.

Your Responsibilities | Funds – Legal – Law – Manager Legal – Alternative Funds

• You are responsible for overseeing the fund set up and structuring of alternative funds (including RAIF, SICAR, SCSP…) as well as their day-to-day legal lifecycle.
• You draft legal documentation that may be required for board and shareholder meetings, and also negotiate and review other legal agreements such as limited partnership agreements, service agreements and so on.
• You work closely with the Head Of Legal, assisting them with supervising the team and ensuring the high standards of work, as well as the respect of deadlines.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Funds – Legal – Law – Manager Legal – Alternative Funds

• Experience : For this role, we are looking for a candidate who has acquired at least 3 years of experience as an Associate Funds / Investment fund lawyer in a law firm in Luxembourg.
• Language skills : Fluency in French and English is a prerequisite for the position, any other language is an advantage.
• Values : You would describe yourself as a true team member, with a real willingness to provide high-quality work. As a result, you are both able and happy to share your knowledge with less experienced team members.
• Approach : You are eager to take on managerial responsibilities and help supervise a team as well as review their work, while still using your acquired knowledge on an operational level and ensure client satisfaction.
• Technical skills : Sound knowledge of the investment fund industry is required, with a focus on Alternative Funds. You have therefore been exposed to fund formation and structuring.
