Our client is a well-established, human-sized audit firm located in the north of Luxembourg, close to Troisvierges, currently looking to recruit a German-speaking Junior or Senior Auditor to support the continued growth of its Audit department.

Your Responsibilities | Accountant – Fiduciary – German - Troisvierges

• Participate in statutory and contractual audit engagements for a portfolio of Luxembourg and Belgian commercial companies across a variety of industries.
• Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial statements, internal processes, and control environments to identify potential risks and provide practical recommendations to clients.
• Prepare audit working papers, document findings, and contribute to the drafting of audit reports while maintaining the firm's high quality standards.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Accountant – Fiduciary – German - Troisvierges

• You have at least 2 years of experience in external audit gained within an audit firm or consulting practice in Luxembourg.
• You are able to manage audit assignments with a high degree of autonomy and are comfortable interacting directly with clients throughout the different stages of the audit process.
• You have a solid understanding of Luxembourg accounting standards, audit methodologies, and financial reporting, and enjoy analyzing financial statements, assessing risks, and identifying areas for improvement.
• You are fluent in German; knowledge of French will be considered a strong asset.
• You are organized, analytical, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality audit services.
