We have the great pleasure to assist this medium-sized PFS (slightly under 100 people) in its search for a Manager Accounting Funds & SPV. 

The company has been present in Luxembourg for more than a decade and is currently growing its team. The accounting team is human-sized, and most of the accountants who compose the company are eager to learn and care about team spirit. As a result, the atmosphere is ideal for spending good moments together as a team.

Indeed, it is quite common for colleagues to have lunch together or simply take time to get to know each other. The fact that team members all have very different backgrounds ensures interesting conversations on a daily basis, and the chance to be surrounded by people who genuinely care about getting to know and help each other.

The clients of the company are varied and each team has an attributed portfolio (ranging from SOPARFI to Commercial companies, or even Alternative funds and SPV). This means that you will get to know your clients well, and in this position you will also play an important role in the growth of less experienced accountants.

Your Responsibilities | Manager Accounting – Accountant – Finance – PSF - PFS

• You will be responsible for your own client portfolio made up of funds and SPV, which you handle from A to Z.
• In addition, you will be in charge of supervising 1 or 2 less experienced team members as well as a team abroad which takes on a lot of preparation work.
• Your experience allows you to define efficiency (or lack thereof) of processes and you are more than happy to assist in further working on these.
• You are a key contact person for your own clients but also for your team’s clients in case you have to de-escalate difficult situations.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Manager Accounting – Accountant – Finance – PSF - PFS

• Experience : You have acquired at least 5 years of experience in a fiduciary or PFS in Luxembourg, and have ideally already had the chance to supervise junior colleagues.
• Language skills : Fluency in French and English is a prerequisite in order for you to communicate with your clients in the most fluid way. Any other language is an asset.
• Goals : You want to join a medium-sized PFS that has many growth opportunities to offer you, such as the chance to become Senior Manager or Director in time.
• Portfolio : You feel fully autonomous in the daily accounting of SPV and (alternative) funds.
• Management approach : You care about offering autonomy and no micro-management to your team members, but are always available when they have questions. You also make sure that the work is attributed correctly.

• This PFS offers a lot of flexibility on numerous levels : You can work up to 2 days per week (if you are a Luxembourg resident), can start very early in the morning or slightly later depending on your needs, and you will also have additional days off. This allows you to keep a great balance between work and your private life.
• Financially speaking, you can count on an attractive remuneration up to €90.000 gross per year, which will be in line with your skill set and level of experience. In addition, the PFS offers meal vouchers and an annual bonus.
• Located in beautiful offices in Strassen, this PFS offers an ideal setting for people taking the car to work (with parking available), or even those wishing to take the bus. The PFS also has satellite offices (Luxembourg city center and German border) making it easier for cross-border workers to enjoy a day with a shorter commute.
