My client is a respected law firm in Luxembourg, composed of around ten lawyers and recognized on the market for its sharp technical expertise and consistent involvement in AIF, SICAR and SCSp structures. The firm has earned a solid reputation over the years by combining high-quality legal work with a pragmatic approach that aligns closely with the needs of international asset managers and private investment players. In addition, they are also active in Corporate Law/M&A, Tax law and other specializations.

The team operates in a genuinely human-sized environment, where the partners remain accessible and decisions are taken quickly, without unnecessary layers of hierarchy. The team is young, dynamic and stable, with lawyers who value long-term development and who contribute actively to the growth of the practice.

As part of its ongoing expansion in the alternative investment space, the firm is now seeking a Partner specialising in Investment Funds to strengthen its strategic capabilities and take an active role in shaping the future of the department.

Your Responsibilities | Funds – Strategy – Advisory – Business Development - Lawyer

• Lead and shape the Investment Funds practice, defining strategies, positioning on the market and so on.
• Advise clients on the formation, structuring, and ongoing lifecycle of AIF vehicles (RAIF, SIF, SICAV, partnerships, etc.).
• Maintain and grow a diverse and international client base, reinforcing existing relationships while identifying new market opportunities.
• Represent the firm during industry events, conferences, and professional initiatives, enhancing the visibility of the practice.
• Contribute to the growth of the team by mentoring associates and supporting future recruitment efforts.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Funds – Strategy – Advisory – Business Development - Lawyer

• You have at least 7 years of experience in investment fund law in Luxembourg, gained exclusively within a, or several, law firm(s).
• You possess strong technical knowledge of alternative investment funds, including AIFMD and Luxembourg fund structures.
• You are fluent in English and French, allowing you to manage a multilingual, international client portfolio although the language spoken within the team is more so French.
• You demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to develop client relationships and drive new initiatives.
• You value autonomy, efficiency, and direct communication, and enjoy working in a firm where decisions are taken quickly and transparently.
• If you have portable business, that is of course a strong plus.
