Some accounting positions focus mainly on the production of figures. This one gives you the opportunity to understand what is behind those figures.

By joining the Luxembourg accounting team of a leading international Asset Manager, you will work directly on investment structures and follow transactions throughout their lifecycle. The position offers exposure to sophisticated operations and different investment strategies, allowing you to gradually build a much broader understanding of the business than through traditional accounting activities.

You will be part of a relatively small international team operating within a much larger organisation. Despite the company's size, the team itself has maintained a straightforward and collaborative way of working. The hierarchy is flat, colleagues readily exchange knowledge and there is no culture of internal competition. Everyone is encouraged to develop their technical expertise while supporting the progression of others.

The role is therefore particularly suited to an Accountant who enjoys understanding the reasoning behind transactions, wants to work on technically challenging matters and is looking for a long-term environment where professional development and work-life balance can coexist.

Your Responsibilities | Accounting – Accountancy – Finance – Tax – VAT

• Take ownership of the accounting of RAIFs, SIFs and SPFs, covering the full accounting cycle as well as the related tax aspects.
• Follow investment transactions from beginning to end and develop a comprehensive understanding of the strategies and structures involved.
• Review the work performed by junior team members and provide them with technical guidance and support.
• Share your knowledge with colleagues and contribute to their ongoing development.
• Participate in the optimisation of existing procedures and help introduce new processes where appropriate.
• Contribute to maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality across the team's activities.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Accounting – Accountancy – Finance – Tax – VAT

• You have at least 3 years of experience as an Accountant in Luxembourg, ideally gained within a fiduciary, PFS, Asset Manager or another relevant financial environment.
• You are comfortable working in an international environment and are fluent in English.
• A good command of German would be a significant advantage.
• You have developed a solid technical foundation and are interested in deepening your understanding of investment structures and fund accounting.
• You are comfortable reviewing work and sharing your expertise with less experienced colleagues.
• You have a stable professional background and are looking for a company where you can build your career over the long term.
