Senior Accountant – Stable Organization, Additional Holidays
Our client is a well-established Single Family Office located in the heart of Luxembourg City, currently looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to strengthen its Finance team. Dedicated exclusively to managing the investments and financial interests of one family, the organization offers a unique working environment where quality, precision, and long-term value take precedence over heavy workloads and tight deadlines.
Unlike many financial services firms, this Family Office places a strong emphasis on work-life balance. Overtime is the exception rather than the rule, allowing employees to enjoy a sustainable pace of work while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.
The Luxembourg office is composed of a close-knit team of fewer than ten professionals, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where trust, transparency, and mutual support are part of the company's culture. Management remains highly accessible, decision-making is efficient, and employees are given a high degree of autonomy while benefiting from continuous support whenever needed.
In this role, you will be involved in the accounting and financial management of a diversified portfolio primarily composed of Holding companies, SOPARFIs, SPVs, and a limited number of SCSp structures. The diversity of the portfolio will allow you to further develop your technical expertise while enjoying the advantages of working within a stable organization where staff turnover is exceptionally low and long-term careers are genuinely encouraged.
Your Responsibilities | Accoutant – Familly Office - Luxembourg
- Manage the accounting and tax affairs of a portfolio primarily composed of SOPARFIs, Holding companies, SPVs, and other investment vehicles, taking ownership of your files from A to Z with a high level of autonomy.
- Prepare VAT returns, corporate tax returns, and annual financial statements, ensuring full compliance with Luxembourg accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Assist with corporate and administrative matters related to the management of the entities whenever required, working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other external parties to ensure the smooth administration and compliance of the portfolio.
Profile and Career Path | Accoutant – Familly Office - Luxembourg
- You have at least 5 years of accounting experience in Luxembourg, gained within a Family Office, fiduciary firm, PSF, or a similar environment, enabling you to manage a portfolio of entities independently from A to Z.
- You possess a strong knowledge of Luxembourg accounting and tax regulations, together with a solid understanding of corporate and administrative matters related to the management of companies, such as the preparation of board meetings and corporate documentation.
- You are fluent in both French and English, written and spoken, and are comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
- You are proficient in BOB50 and comfortable using accounting software and other IT tools as part of your daily responsibilities.
- You are organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work autonomously while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Offer | Accoutant – Familly Office - Luxembourg
- A competitive gross annual salary of up to €80,000, with regular salary reviews based on your performance, commitment, and long-term contribution to the Family Office.
- Benefit from a comprehensive compensation package including €15 meal vouchers, a dedicated parking space, and additional annual leave, ensuring both financial and personal well-being.
- Join a Family Office where work-life balance is a genuine priority, with flexible working hours and the possibility of working on an 80% part-time schedule, depending on your preferences.
- Become part of a stable and trusted organization where autonomy, accountability, and service excellence are at the core of the company culture, providing an ideal environment for long-term professional development.
- Work in a human-sized structure where you will enjoy direct exposure to senior management, have a real impact on the day-to-day operations of the Family Office, and see your ideas and contributions genuinely recognized and valued.
