On behalf of our client, an established fiduciary in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join the launch of a new department dedicated to PSF activities. The project is already at an advanced stage and is now moving towards its operational launch and future growth.

You will join an initiative led by two experienced professionals with extensive knowledge of the Luxembourg market and a well-established professional network. Supported by an existing structure, the objective is to build a sustainable and successful business with strong long-term ambitions.

What makes this position particularly interesting is the level of involvement you will have in the project. Beyond your core Fund Accounting responsibilities, you will contribute to setting up internal processes, shaping the organisation of the department, and supporting the development of the activity. As the business grows, you will have the opportunity to build your own team and eventually take on a managerial role.

Your Responsibilities | Fund Accounting – AIFs – Private Equity – Real Estate – Luxembourg

• Manage the accounting of a portfolio of alternative investment funds (AIFs) covering various investment strategies, including Real Estate, Private Debt, cryptocurrencies, and other asset classes.
• Prepare and review Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing technical accounting guidance and assisting them with fund-related matters and specific investment-related queries.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and other service providers, to ensure smooth operations and efficient coordination.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and improvement of internal processes, helping establish efficient working methods and scalable procedures as the new activity develops.
• Take an active role in the growth of the department, with the possibility of assuming additional responsibilities and building and managing a team as the business expands.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Fund Accounting – AIFs – Private Equity – Real Estate – Luxembourg

• You have at least 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting in Luxembourg, with solid exposure to alternative investment funds, such as Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt, or Infrastructure funds.
• You are fluent in both French and English, enabling you to communicate confidently with clients and external stakeholders.
• You have strong technical accounting knowledge and are comfortable managing fund-related matters independently.
• You are organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage your responsibilities with a high degree of autonomy.
• You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build effective working relationships with clients, auditors, and business partners.
• You are proactive and entrepreneurial in your approach, with a genuine interest in contributing to the launch and development of a new business activity.
• You are looking for a position offering greater involvement in decision-making, increased responsibilities, and the possibility of progressing towards a management role.

• An annual gross salary of up to €75,000, depending on your experience and technical expertise.
