Senior Fund Lawyer – Highly Skilled Partners, Human-Sized Team

An opportunity has opened within a boutique law firm in Luxembourg, currently looking to reinforce its Investment Funds team with a Senior Fund Lawyer. The structure is deliberately kept human-sized and boutique, allowing lawyers to work in proximity with the Partners and to be directly involved in client interactions. Indeed, the Partner attributes the lawyers with specific clients so they can see the entire lifecycle and evolution of their clients, and not just handle one transaction here and there without having the 360° vision.

The firm advises an international client base on investment fund matters, with a strong focus on alternative investments. Thanks to its size of less than 10 people, the team operates with a high level of flexibility and efficiency, offering lawyers the chance to handle matters from A to Z and develop a strong sense of ownership.

This position is particularly suited for a lawyer who is looking to move away from very hierarchized environments and instead have the opportunity to work very closely and daily with the Partners, while continuing to work on technically engaging files.

Your Responsibilities | Fund Lawyer – Legal – Funds – Avocat – Law – AIF

• You will be involved in the set-up and structuring of investment funds, mainly focused on alternative investment vehicles within a wide range of strategies.
• You will draft and review legal documentation related to fund formation, including agreements, articles and transactional documents.
• You will act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and practical legal advice, but also the CSSF and other involved parties.
• You will work closely with the Partners on ongoing mandates and contribute to the development of client relationships.
• You will follow regulatory developments and ensure compliance with Luxembourg legal requirements.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Fund Lawyer – Legal – Funds – Avocat – Law – AIF

• You have at least 4 years of experience as an Investment Funds Lawyer in Luxembourg, specifically in a law firm.
• You have solid exposure to AIF structures and are comfortable handling files with a good level of autonomy.
• You are fluent in English; French is considered an additional asset.
• You will have a 360° view of your files as you are attributed clients by the Partner and not solely transactions or one simple aspect of each client. You will be dedicated to specific clients and assist them throughout all of their legal needs within your field of expertise, allowing you to develop strong relationships with them.
• You are proactive, structured, and eager to deepen your expertise in a small and more agile environment.

• The firm offers a competitive salary (employee status) of up to €130.000 gross per year, depending on your experience and technical skills. In addition, you will enjoy an annual bonus to reward your efforts.
