For a Funds lawyer, joining a practice that is still expanding can offer more visibility than entering a department where roles and responsibilities are already fixed.

This is precisely the context of this opportunity. The Luxembourg office is part of a well-established international law firm with a broad global network, while maintaining a relatively compact local structure of around 20 professionals across Investment Funds, Corporate M&A, and Tax.

The Investment Funds team is currently strengthening its practice, with a particular focus on AIFs. This allows lawyers to contribute to the department's development, work closely with experienced Partners, and gain strong exposure to both local and cross-border fund matters.

The firm is therefore looking for a Mid-Level to Senior Fund Lawyer who already has solid experience in investment funds and who is looking for a role combining technical depth, autonomy and long­term progression within a growing team.

Your Responsibilities | Investment Funds – AIF – UCITS – Advisory

• Advise local and international clients on the structuring, formation and ongoing operation of investment funds.
• Work on both Alternative Investment Funds and UCITS, depending on your existing experience and technical background.
• Draft, review and negotiate fund documentation, including constitutional documents, prospectuses, LPAs and related agreements.
• Assist clients throughout the lifecycle of their investment vehicles, including launches, restructurings and ongoing regulatory matters.
• Coordinate with AIFMs, management companies, depositaries, administrators and other service providers.
• Work closely with colleagues across other offices on cross-border fund matters.
• Follow Luxembourg and EU regulatory developments affecting the investment funds industry.
• Depending on your seniority, take increasing ownership of client relationships and support more junior members of the team.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Investment Funds – AIF – UCITS – Advisory

• You have at least two years of experience in Investment Funds law, ideally acquired within a recognised law firm.
• You have developed exposure to AIFs and/or UCITS; previous UCITS experience will be particularly appreciated as the practice continues to expand in this area.
• You are comfortable working in English, which is sufficient for the role.
• You possess strong drafting and analytical skills and are able to manage technically demanding matters.
• You are motivated by the idea of joining a growing Funds practice where your contribution can have visible impact.
• Depending on your level of experience, the opportunity can be considered at Mid-Level, Senior Associate or potentially Counsel-track level.
