We are pleased to assist a prestigious business partner in recruiting an additional Senior Legal Officer. The investment firm’s 50 employees work across 2 distinct divisions: the corporate/legal division and the accounting division.

The company provides a number of services with a focus on non-regulated investment vehicles for all the entities of the group domiciliated in Luxembourg. The teams provide accounting, tax, corporate and domiciliation services. Its vibrant and extremely diversified workforce works together in a close-knit team environment to sustain operational excellence.

During our first in-person business meeting, we had the opportunity to meet part of the team. The extremely competent Head of Legal indicated that she was fulfilled working in such a diverse and cohesive work environment. For her, in comparison to other service providers, this in-house function provided employees with a series of different benefits. Your Responsibilities | Senior Legal Officer – Corporate Officer – Corporate – Legal – Inhouse - Law

• The day-to-day legal administration of financial entities will be part of your responsibilities, mainly made up of SPVs. You will take care of the board and shareholder meetings (general and extraordinary) by preparing and organizing them. Then, you will have to draft related documents, reports and minutes.
• Drafting legal documentation will also be one of your tasks. For instance, you will handle the approval of accounts, agreements, loan agreements and other documents linked to the lifecycle of entities from the constitution to liquidation.
• As Senior Legal Officer, you will supervise juniors and assistants within the team, in close collaboration with your manager.

• You have had the opportunity to build your experience in Luxembourg, ideally in an investment firm, fiduciary or PFS during at least 4 years, allowing you to have a great understanding of your future position and the Luxembourg investment fund industry.
• You obtained a Bachelor or Master degree in Law. This diploma is a very important criterion for our client.
• Previous exposure and experience with SPV is a must. You are also autonomous in the way you handle this portfolio. Strong knowledge of SPV in Private Equity particularly is a strong asset.
• As you will evolve within an international work environment, you should be able to speak English fluently. Any other languages will be valued in your application.
