A dynamic PFS is currently seeking a Manager Fund Accounting to take care of a fund accounting team of the company.
This structure has existed in Luxembourg for more than 20 years and is currently developing its fund department. The team is composed of nearly 15 people, and is a member of a larger group composed of more than 200 people. Most of the accountants who compose the company are young and motivated, and as a result, the atmosphere is ideal for spending good moments at work.
Indeed, it is quite common that colleagues have lunch together or simply take time to get to know each other. The fact that employees all have very different backgrounds and experiences ensures interesting conversations on a daily basis, and the chance to be surrounded by people who genuinely care about getting to know and help each other.
The clients of the company are mostly international entities, including in Private Equity and Real Estate, and they are looking for a person with thorough knowledge of alternative investment funds.

Your Responsibilities | PFS – Finance – Abiomis – Luxembourg – Fund Accounting - Accountant
You are in charge of a team composed of a dozen people (junior fund accountants and senior fund accountants).
You supervise your team and prepare their planning, in order to help them expand their organizational skills.
You are responsible for the review of all documents prepared by your colleagues, and to explain them their mistakes.
You also handle the management of of a few Private Equity and Real Estate funds by yourself, from A to Z. Staying partly operational ensures that you keep up with the latest developments and your technical level.
You are punctual and rigorous with your timesheet and with your work in general.
You are in direct contact with your clients.
Profile and Career Path | PFS – Finance – Abiomis – Luxembourg – Fund Accounting - Accountant
You have at least 6 years of experience in fund accounting in Luxembourg, within an AIFM or a PFS.
You already have a first experience in team management.
You are fluent in English.
Your client portfolio has mostly been composed of PE/RE funds, regulated or unregulated.
You ideally have a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in finance, accounting or a similar field.
You are ambitious and want to be part of a project. You like to implement new methodologies, and you listen to your colleagues (their ideas, feelings) to create a good team spirit.

Your salary can go up to € 85 000 gross per year. You will receive meal vouchers of €10.80, a bonus, and health insurance in addition to this salary.
