A human-sized AIFM is currently looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to handle a client portfolio composed of investment funds (regulated and unregulated). This company was created in 2015 and has known a real growth in its activity since its creation.
There are currently a dozen funds under the management of this AIFM, that are located in more than 20 countries all around the world. This international dimension is perfect if you want to develop your knowledge in finance and communicate with clients who come from the US or Europe.
You will work closely with your colleagues in a team of 5 people, and with the partner of the company. Indeed, because of the size of the company and the number of employees, you will learn a lot and improve your skills continuously.
The offices are located in Kirchberg, only a few minutes walking distance from the train station, which is a good location if you live in Germany or in the east border of France for example.
Your Responsibilities | AIFM - PFS – Finance – Fiduciary – Luxembourg - Accounting
You are responsible for the analysis of your client’s activity, which means that you have enough experience to determine potential problems in the transactions and investments.
You handle the accounting entries and review them.
You calculate and prepare NAV calculations for your clients, following LuxGAAPregulations.
You establish the annual accounts and prepare reportings for the administration and your clients.
You are in contact with your colleagues working abroad, and you review their work if needed.
Profile and Career Path | AIFM - PFS – Finance – Fiduciary – Luxembourg - Accounting
You have at least 2 years of experience in fund accounting in Luxembourg, in a PFS or an AIFM.
You are fluent in English. If you speak French, this would represent an advantage, but it is not mandatory for that position.
You have already prepared reportings for the CSSF, as well as NAV calculations for Private Equity and Real Estate Funds.
You know how to work with digitalized tools and are able to use software efficiently at work.
If you have knowledge of IFRS, this is an asset for this AIFM. Furthermore, this company will take your profile in consideration if you are independent in your work (technically and in your organization).

Your salary will go up to 80 000€ gross per year (if you have more than 2 years of experience for example, and depending on a technical test). In addition to this salary, you will benefit from meal vouchers and a bonus several times during the year.
