We are currently recruiting a Compliance Officer for a specialist FSP on a human scale. The company's activities focus on the following main areas: Accounting & Fund Administration and Depositary Services.
The company has been operating globally for about 40 years and has a strong presence in Luxembourg for over a decade. The PFS and its network has grown recently, yet each bureau is still governed locally and independently. Despite the fact that the company's global network includes over 700 professionals, the human-sized team only has about 35 members. Thus you will be able to pool knowledge and expertise from a wide network of dedicated professionals, all while working collaboratively in a company with a human dimension.

Your Responsibilities | Compliance Officer - Legal – Compliance – AML – CFT – AIF - PFS

Under the supervision of the Compliance Manager and the company’s executive leadership, you will among other tasks be in charge of:

  • Performing Periodical reviews for clients in the firm’s portfolio. This includes the maintenance of a database to log in PEPs, complaints, conflicts of interest, etc.

  • Maintaining a strong regulatory framework and training colleagues and business partners in adopting the proper reflexes in terms of compliance and regulatory perspective.

  • Facilitating risk assessments and mitigating exposure to legal liability for the firm. This includes assisting AML/KYC team members in assessing client due diligence forms and documentation.

  • Proactively participating in the launch of new services and the improvement of existing Regulatory and Compliance Services to Funds as well as the Corporate clientele of the firm. This includes FATCA-CRS, GDPR and other reporting matters to the authorities via the CSSF.

Profile and Career Path | Compliance Officer - Legal – Compliance – AML – CFT – AIF - PFS

  • You possess at least 2 years of experience in the financial sector in Luxembourg. You preferably worked in a similar function in a Fiduciary, PSF, ManCo or Big Four.

  • You can fluently converse and write in English. Mastery of French is considered a very strong asset.

  • You are self-motivated and communicative and your interpersonal skills make you a great team player.

  • Your meticulous and detailed oriented nature has been the cornerstone of your career as a compliance specialist and you wish to boost your career by participating in an ambitious venture.
