Our partner a trusted and reputable service provider is recruiting a Senior Depositary Officer to join its team.
Deeply implanted in Luxembourg for almost 15 years now, the firm has been active internationally for almost 40 years now. The network of the firm has expanded in recent years while allowing individual bureaus to remain under independent, local directorship. Today within Luxembourg’s ecosystem, the firm offers Fund Accounting, Corporate & Fund Administration, as well as Depositary Services.
The firm has been able to offer its collaborators a stable work environment characterized by a dual specificity. In fact, the human-sized team counts around 35 people currently, although the global network of the firm counts worldwide over 700 specialists. Thus, working with the firm would allow talents to be part of an independent structure with a strong local anchoring, while tapping into a wider network of global financial expertise.

Your Responsibilities | Senior Depositary Officer – Funds – PFS - Legal

You synchronize the department’s actions and coordinate the team efforts towards producing evidence for a series of measures. These relate to a series of AIFs active in the PE/RE, infrastructure sector and includes evidence relating to (1) ownership of assets , (2) investors transactions, (3) units/shares valuation and more.
You will also need to partake in the daily operations by engaging in NAV calculation, monitor cashflows, serve as first contact to the different clients and business manage relations in general.
You initiate and monitor new funds’ onboarding processes. This includes the coordination with internal stakeholders and external third parties of the entire due diligence procedures (fund accountants, auditors, regulators, etc).
You pro-actively engage in risk monitoring by continuously assessing the firm’s exposure. You will engage in the surveillance of the constantly changing local legal and regulatory frameworks.
You supervise and assess the deliverables of your junior team members and offer guidance and structure for them to gain in autonomy, skills and confidence.

Profile and Career Path | Senior Depositary Officer – Funds – PFS - Legal

You possess at least 4 years of experience within a Depositary department focused on AIFs. This experience has been achieved in Luxembourgwithin a PSF, Bank, ManCo or similar. Environments.
You are fluent in English and confident working in international business environments.
You possess strong interpersonal skills that make you an engaging communicator and allow you to exchange information effectively and efficiently with the myriad of different interlocutors interacted with daily.
An experience in investment vehicles audit proceedings constitutes an advantage.

With a fixed salary of up to 90.000€ gross per year (depending on your previous experience and academic background) to which you can add meal vouchers, DKV, and a life insurance, as well as a bonus and an annual training budget.
