We are currently working with a holding located in Gasperich in Luxembourg, which is looking for a Junior Accountant. In this company, you will handle the internal accounting with your colleague who will help you to learn how to become fully autonomous. The activity of the company is mostly based in Portugal, so you will work in the offices in Luxembourg with your colleague, but also be in contact with your Portuguese colleagues !

Your Responsibilities | Internal Accounting – Holding – Luxembourg
You will learn how to manage the accounting of a company in collaboration with your colleague, who is an experienced accountant.
You help your colleague to prepare the annual budget for the company, and gradually, you prepare them by yourself.
You are responsible for the preparation of VAT returns, you will have trainings to learn how to prepare them.
You handle communications with customers and external parties, as well as Luxembourgish authorities, and of course your colleagues.
You are in charge of the management of invoices, but also of administrative tasks.

You have a degree in accounting (Bac +2, Bac +3) and you want to start your career in this domain.
You are fluent in English so you can communicate easily with your colleagues. If you speak French or Portuguese, that would represent a real asset for this company.
You have a first experience in accounting, you worked in an accounting department during your internship or a temporary/permanent position for example.
You are interested by managing the accounting and the budget of a company, and you want to have a career in this field.
You are autonomous, proactive, and you like to work by yourself. It is important for you to feel free in your work and to be part of a company that trusts you.
