We are very happy to assist this international and dynamic fiduciary with a good reputation on the market and abroad, in its search for a Senior Accountant.
This larger structure in Luxembourg offers many services to its clients including accounting, tax, payroll and fund services. The teams however keep a human size as most are composed of less than 10 people. A well-defined hierarchy is present in each team which means that you will be able to climb up the ladder and always know which step is awaiting you in your career.
Their offices are located in one of the key business districts of the city, that is easily accessible both by public transport and by car, with many shops and restaurants around for you to enjoy your lunch break, while avoiding the most hectic and stressful areas of the city. Your Responsibilities | Senior Accountant – Fiduciary – Accounting - Finance

You take on the preparation of tax returns and VAT returns for your clients, either periodical or annual, while respecting the legal deadlines.
You establish the annual accounts which will be reviewed by the manager of the team, who will also be your first point of contact if you have questions.
You make sure to keep in regular contact with your clients and to be proactive in offering solutions or advice.
You may be asked to help junior accountants of the team by reviewing their deliverables (such as the encoding).
Your overall motivation makes you want to join a fiduciary in which you can ideally evolve in the mid and long term, by achieving managerial or directorship positions for example. However, it is important to note that this fiduciary will never force you to evolve if you do not want to.

Profile and Career Path | Senior Accountant – Fiduciary – Accounting - Finance

Experience : You have at least 3 years of experience in external accounting in a PFS or Fiduciary in Luxembourg, and have had the opportunity to manage a client portfolio from A to Z.
Client portfolio : You will have the chance to manage a diverse client portfolio comprised of SOPARFI, Private Equity, Real Estate clients or even commercial companies depending on your profile.
Language skills : Fluency in English is mandatory as this is the main language spoken internally. However, you will be surrounded by multilingual colleagues in this multicultural environment.
Goals and aspirations : It is important for you to join a fiduciary that can offer a real career and prospects. For this reason, you will be able to achieve managerial positions and, in time, have a function that is fully based on coaching and reviewing more junior accountants.
