We have the pleasure to assist one of our partners, who we have grown to know well over the years, in its search for a Senior Internal Auditor. This boutique firm is specialized in internal audit, governance and risk management and has grown to a team of 10 people since its creation.
The company sets out to keep this human size, as it does not have the objective to become a Big Four type structure or anything like that. On the contrary, the Partner finds it important to offer everyone a function in which they can thrive, by offering regular trainings (internal and external) and various missions.
We feel this opportunity would, for example, be ideal for an external auditor who wishes to change roles while still being able to use the acquired experience to his/her best advantage while also benefiting from a much better work life balance. Each Friday afternoon, the team sits together and debriefs about how the week went. That means that everyone can give his or her input, discuss some difficulties or even brainstorm together which is also integral to the continuous learning curve.
Your Responsibilities | Senior Internal Auditor – Audit – Auditor
You are in charge of leading internal audit missions and you will also regularly work directly on your clients’ premises.
You handle the assessment of corporate governance and internal controls, and also develop policies and procedures that are compliant with the Luxembourgish legislation and CSSF regulations.
You assist your clients with setting up their entity in Luxembourg by drafting the applications for the CSSF and collecting and reviewing all necessary documentation.
You identify and assess any risks for your clients and are proactive with finding solutions and defining new models.
Profile and Career Path | Senior Internal Auditor – Audit – Auditor
You are able to present an experience of at least 3 years or more in audit in Luxembourg : This can be in external audit in a Big Four or Audit Firm, or otherwise in internal audit in a financial service provider.
You are fluent in French and have a full professional proficiency in English allowing you to easily communicate with clients.
You have a first exposure to a client base of PSFs, banks and/or investment funds.
You would describe yourself as a motivatedperson who is eager to learn more and grow in your autonomy, while also valuing team spirit and being able to collaborate well with others.

Salary package : Depending on your prior experience, an annual gross salary up to €68.000 will be offered. To that, you can add meal vouchers of €10.80, a full health insurance coverage in order to avoid any costs for you, as well as an annual bonus.
