We have the pleasure to assist our partner, an independent corporate and fund service provider supervised by the CSSF and based in Mamer, in the search for a Senior Compliance Officer.
The PSF is currently composed of around 30 employees over its several teams and has been able to keep quite a low turn-over these past decades. The main reason for this is the fact that the partners actually care about their employees’ well being by providing a great work/life balance, which is not necessarily easy in this industry.
For example, overtime is practically inexistant in this PSF and working from home is also possible one day a week. Furthermore, as they are located close to the Belgian border, you will join a team composed mainly of Belgian cross-border workers who benefit from a shorter commute and more free time as a result.
The clients that you will handle are both regulated and semi-regulated funds, offering you the possibility to keep evolving technically. Furthermore, a personalized and quality-oriented approach is key for the PSF, which is why the clients’ satisfaction is so high.
Your Responsibilities | Senior Compliance Officer - Compliance - PSF
Your main role is to identify and assess compliance risks and adopt a proactive approach with regards to reporting them as promptly as possible.
You are responsible for monitoring legal and regulatory developments, both at national and European level, in order to interpret and apply them correctly. This means that you have a good understanding of the Luxembourg framework and Directives in terms of compliance.
You provide support in the implementation of internal policies and procedures, and will also prepare internal and external reports.
You will work closely with a less experienced compliance officer and assist him in case he has questions or doubts. Furthermore, you will regularly report to the partners of the PSF and update them about any developments.
Profile and Career Path | Senior Compliance Officer – Compliance - PSF
As a Compliance Officer, you have had the opportunity to work for at least 3 years in a PSF or financial service provider in Luxembourg.
You have a good level of French and English which will allow you to maintain a fluent and easy contact with your clients and colleagues.
You would describe yourself as an organized and rigorous person with a great eye for detail. As the PSF values a high quality of service, at all levels, this will play a part in the clients’ satisfaction.
A Bachelor degree in Law or Finance, or having followed trainings regularly over the years to update your knowledge, will be considered a real plus in your application.
